Rare Siberian Bloodlines
for breeders and catteries
Chatterie de Nice is a professional cattery in Nice, France, working with traditional LOOF-registered Siberian lines since 2016. We collaborate with serious breeders worldwide. Cats from our lines have joined breeding programmes in Italy, Russia, Germany, Japan and Switzerland.
We preserve rare traditional Siberian lines in France, including blue-eyed, odd-eyed, silver shaded, golden shaded, silver tabby, golden tabby, sunshine, blue golden and white Siberian cats.
Kittens are not all alike, even within the same litter. Many are sold for breeding without a word about their real quality. That is not how we work: we always tell you honestly whether we think a kitten is suited to a breeding programme, and why. We send videos so that you can follow the kitten as it grows. If you choose a kitten for other reasons, such as a particular rare colour, we respect your choice.

A heritage worth preserving
Traditional Siberian lines
Our bloodlines are carefully selected for health, temperament, authentic morphology and genetic diversity.
Our pedigrees trace back to original Russian and European lines, the foundation of the traditional Siberian breed.
We follow the traditional Siberian standard: strong bone, heavy coat, balanced temperament. We do not introduce Neva Masquerade blood into our programme.
Blue and odd eyes appear naturally in our lines and have been followed through several generations since 2018.
According to the independent reference site Messybeast, blue-eyed lines bred today in Russia and Italy trace back to our female Omega through her son Pavel. Read the article →
Omega’s descendants live today in France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, China, Japan, Canada and the United States. Her daughter Pamela Chatterie de Nice, by Finist Ural Gems, a blue-eyed female, is a breeding female at the French cattery L’Envol Sibérien. One of her grandsons appeared on the cover of the German magazine Catmopolitan. See the cover on our reviews page (in French) →

Buying a Siberian kitten for your breeding programme
Especially for new breeders buying their first cats abroad
Many new breeders buy their first Siberian cats abroad. From a distance, a photograph is only the beginning of the conversation: what matters is the kitten, its parents and the ancestry behind it.
Most of our kittens join families as companions. We discuss with breeders the kittens whose development and pedigree fit their breeding project. Not every kitten is suited to breeding, and we say so honestly. Each request is studied individually.
In our view, rare eyes alone are not a sufficient reason to choose a breeding cat: we also look at morphology, temperament, pedigree and compatibility with your programme. If your programme is looking first for a rare colour or eye colour, the choice remains yours. The objective is to protect the quality of the cat and the continuity of the line.
If you are interested in a blue-eyed or odd-eyed kitten, tell us about your programme, your cats and your objectives, so that we can see whether a pedigree fits your project.
For a breeding kitten, you can ask us for:
- sex and date of birth;
- EMS code, once confirmed;
- sire, dam and pedigree;
- eye colour;
- breeding status;
- possibilities of departure abroad.
A breeding kitten is sold at the same price as a companion kitten, with our standard contract and without any neutering obligation.
International breeding projects may require additional pedigree and breeding documents. These details are discussed directly with the breeder.
Why work with us?
Transparency with every partner
We are a professional cattery with experience in preserving rare Siberian lines since 2016.
Our cats carry traditional bloodlines with natural blue and odd eyes. We follow each line with care and transparency.
We share pedigree documentation and the history of our lines with every partner.
Our opinion is always concrete. If a kitten has legs that are too fine, ears that are too long or any other departure from the standard, we tell you plainly that its morphology does not suit a breeding programme. We also tell you what its qualities are.
Our breeding males and females

Our lines also include tortie females of excellent type, with a correct coat, correct morphology and a show temperament: calm, unstressed, used to being handled and sociable.
