The birth
When a litter is born, it is announced in our private WhatsApp group; families who have been waiting the longest are told first. No reservation before birth.

First photos at around ten days, then photos and videos every week.
Departure
The kitten leaves at three months, with all the documents required by French regulations for the transfer of a kitten. Delivery is possible.
The guarantee
Every kitten is covered by the cattery’s two-year guarantee, as set out in the contract.
Between France and Monaco
Monaco and France form a customs union: pets travel freely between the two. According to veterinarians in the Principality, rabies vaccination is required only for an animal arriving from a country other than France. For formalities specific to Monaco, your Monegasque veterinarian will advise you.

Chatterie de Nice is located in France, about twenty kilometres from Monaco. Since 2016 we have bred traditional Siberian cats registered with LOOF; since 2018, blue and odd eyes have appeared naturally in our bloodlines.
Every kitten receives daily contact and individual attention. Nearly 120 families, in France and abroad, have already welcomed a kitten from our cattery.

Like all cats, the Siberian lives very well in an apartment. Like any living being, it needs attention, love and care.
The Siberian has an abundant coat that needs regular attention. Its temperament, like that of any cat, is individual. The colour of its eyes or coat does not predict its character.

Several cats from our cattery have gone to Monaco. Among them are Amadeus, a red Siberian with blue eyes, and Omélia, a blue-cream tortie Siberian female. Other cats also have their own story with the Principality.
Their stories show that a single breed can bring together very different coats and expressions. Yet every cat keeps its own presence: its appearance never tells the whole story.

Traditional Siberian or Neva Masquerade?
Two appearances not to be confused
The Neva Masquerade is recognised by its colourpoint pattern and its eyes, which are always blue. At Chatterie de Nice we breed traditional Siberian cats: in them, all eye colours are accepted, including blue and odd eyes.
One breed, many distinctive looks
The Siberian cat cannot be reduced to one colour or one gaze. Its coats can be warm or silvery, light or dark, with different patterns. Its eyes are just as varied: green, golden, copper, sometimes blue or odd.
